Divya Jyoti is an independent NGO depending on private and public funds and we do not depend on any other NGO. But to improve our work and know-how, we think it is highly important to work hand in hand with other NGO’s working in the same field as us or in any other social field. This is why, twice a year, we participate in a large meeting where many different NGO’s from Varanasi (working with people with disabilities, street children or orphans) gather to exchange about their experiences and learn from others. These are precious moments that allow us to take distance from our everyday activities in order to improve our work.
